Collagen Induction Therapy is a skin rejuvenation treatment that uses special needles to create thousands of micro lesions in the skin. As the skin is punctured, blood vessels release plasma which signals molecular messengers called Growth Factors and Cytokines. These help stimulate communication to the skin and aid in the function of the cells, essentially replacing the damaged skin with new cells for a healthy, improved structure and glow.

How long do results last?

Though results can vary with each individual, once a series of 3-4 treatments is complete your results should last about a year. Regular maintenance of your skin using professional products is highly recommended to keep the results lasting as long as possible. I recommend another 1-2 treatments once a year to prevent increased signs of aging or damage.

What is the process? 

I use a topical numbing cream (containing 5% Lidocaine) to ensure the treatment is more comfortable. This takes about 30-40 mins to be fully numb. The treatment takes about 45 mins (additional time is required if doing face & neck) and is followed by soothing serums and a cool cloth. Generally, the process is about 90 mins.

Is the treatment right for you? 

You can NOT have this treatment if you are/have: 

• Pregnant or nursing

• Diabetic

• Cancer

• Epilepsy

• Severe telangiectasia (spider veins) or erythema (redness/inflammation) in treatment area

• Taking blood thinners

• Bleeding disorders

• Recent chemical peels

• Psoriasis or eczema in the area

• Viral infections and/or diseases

• History of keloids or hypertrophic scarring

• Tattoo in the treatment area
